What are the types of bhakti yoga?

  • Apara (lower) and Para (higher) Bhakti
  • Ragatmika (bhakti without rituals) and Vidhi Bhakti (bhakti with rituals)
  • Sakamya and Nishkamya Bhakti
  • Vyabhicharini (attach with both world and God) and Avyabhicharini Bhakti (devotion only for God)
  • Mukhya (primary) and Gauna (secondary) Bhakti
  • Sattvic, Rajasic and Tamasic Bhakti

Can Christians practice bhakti yoga?

Yoga is not a religion in and of itself, Bhakti yoga focuses on surrendering to God.
